Tom Callaghan was born in the North of England and educated at the University of York and Vassar College, New York. A creative group head at Saatchi & Saatchi for many years, he has worked in London, New York, Singapore and Dubai.<br/>He attended the 2011 Emirates LitFest Crime Workshop given by Mark Billingham: the result is <i>A Killing Winter</i>, the first novel in a series featuring Kyrgyz Murder Squad Inspector Akyl Borubaev, published worldwide in English by Quercus.
